What war did you serve in? Was that the korean war of 1998 that I missed? You obviously weren't involved in Bosnia... otherwise you would have mentioned that 10x over by now in an attempt to validate the size of your insignificant member. So please, I don't want to hear about being "brave"... you wanted a free ride just like 90% of the non career military people who join the armed forces during peacetime.

I never joined because I've always had a difficult time with authority. I was getting arrested and sitting in jaill at the age most people join the armed forces. It has nothing to do with bravery. If shit got out of control and I got drafted, I would proudly serve... but volunteering during peacetime is not some test of bravery or patriotism. Some of the dumbest, redneck, piece of shits I knew joined the army... not because they were patriots, but because they had no other options available to them.

...and my point about being a mechanic was... no company hires an uneducated "engineer" to do anything of note. They do hire "mechanics" and call them engineers and at best that's what you did. You sure as shit weren't an engineer at pilatus with no education to speak of. Nice try though.

The politically powerful gun rights group will split its message efforts between communicating with its 4 million members and the tens of millions more firearms owners across the country.

This fall, NRA members will get automated phone calls, mail pieces and pre-election editions of the group’s three magazines making the case against Obama. More broadly, the group will use an independent expenditure effort to hammer the Democratic nominee via TV, radio and newspaper ads in some of about 15 battleground states in the Midwest and Mountain West.

“We look forward to showing him ‘bitter,’” Cox said, referring to Obama’s statement this spring that some in rural America “cling” to guns and religion out of bitterness.

first and foremost, don't ever talk shit about my military service. it's because of people like you that we have no national defense to speak of. "oh, i would have served if i were drafted" bullshit. if everyone served a 2 year commitment our country would be a military power and we wouldn't have to send people back to iraq for 4 or more tours. fuck you for even suggesting that i didn't serve my country for the right reasons. i can't create a war, but i volunteered for assignment in korea which at the time was still a tense situation. we had a 10 minute call back at all times, that means you had to have a special pass to be more than 10 minutes away from post. i'm, of course, explaining this to you because you haven't done shit for our country except talk big and make it weaker. i spent three years of my life doing what was asked of me to make our country strong, but good job getting arrested and being a derelict.

you know exactly fucking dick about how aircraft companies work, so shut the fuck up. when a person works for a part 91 station, the person can engineer under the company's license. do you know what a part 91 station is? how about a part 43a? do you have any fucking idea what you are talking about? i definitely wasn't hired to be an engineer, but i sure fulfilled the role and did the job. i have my signature all over legal documentation to the FAA on the engineering order. i also right seated test flights while i worked there. good job though, you just keep making yourself look like a bigger ass.

I'm not talking shit about your service... I'm simply stating a fact. Volunteering during peactime is not an act of bravery. And the act alone is proof of nothing... that was my point.

As far as the 2-year commitment nonsense... what country do you live in? Because ours is a military power, in fact it is still the worlds strongest military power. Our strength isn't built on raw numbers or size, you should already know this though. I agree that the armed forces should have been larger before the iraq war... but that has nothing to do with the volunteer rate (that's nice that your simple little mind thinks that way though) it has to do with the government (specifically Bill Clinton) downsizing the armed forces. If Clinton had left the armed forces in the same shape it was in 92, we would have plenty of soldiers in Iraq right now.

...oh and thanks for the last part there, I had a blast being a derelict.

I don't need to know dick about aircraft companies to know that they don't rely on uneducated kids coming out of (or a few years removed) from the military to do anything of note. And I do know, since I have friends who are ACTUAL engineers, that filling out an engineer order isn't being an engineer either... but nice try.

...oh and dumbass, the commercial market is doing just fine, people aren't losing their asses. That's residential. Two completely different set of buyers & fundamentals... but nice job showing how ignorant you are in yet another field.
